Pictures - An interesting
This site is the gateway to finding a Public House in the UK, strengths are currently in London, Essex, and Suffolk. You will find large tracts of Middlesex and Surrey at the London site, where there are currently around six thousand individual Public Houses and a plethora of early Trade Directory listings.

These few Pubs sites introduce you to the history of the Publican and Licensed Victualler, through census and Trade Directory listings over the past two hundred years. Many Publicans are often only listed in the Trade Directories as Beer Retailers, so by combining this data with that from census records, imagery and local knowledge of a particular establishment, it will often add new dimension and scope to an area.

Many of the Pubs sites also use pictures and postcard images of the Public House, either old or new. More pictures are always welcome.

Current Publicans and Breweries please add your information too.

Although this site is a historical site listing of Public Houses, Taverns, Inns and Hotels; I am also interested in current publicans being able to list their details. and links to their Pulic House. You are welcome to contact me, but would warmly welcome your adding some interesting information to the pages, e.g. a current picture, some historical facts and figures etc. etc.
Convince customers of your site's value to them

My sites are updated on a daily basis, and will never list all the information that I have available, due to time constraints. The search engines are well worth checking regularly for this reason. If I have a picture of a Public House, then it will be on the site, but many of the local history centres have copyright material that I am not able to use on this site, so try them too.
